What's In It For Me
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is the basic mandatory requirement for ALL healthcare providers. With the inclusion of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), the BCLS + AED Course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to perform CPR and apply the AED in a healthcare setting. Participants will also learn CPR and choking measures for adults, children and infants.
Course Duration
- E-learning: Accessible for 3 days prior to the in-person classroom training.
- 0.5 day in-person classroom training.
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC). Valid for 2 years.
Pre-requisites
1. Good command of English.
2. Ability to endure moderate physical exertion.
3. Not recommended for those in late pregnancy or with back injuries.
Additional Notes
- Trainees with existing BCLS certificate nearing expiry, please go to BCLS Refresher course instead.
