The Standard First Aid Refresher Course is designed for individuals who already hold a valid Standard First Aid certificate and wish to renew their skills and certification in a flexible, time‑efficient format. The “blended” delivery structure allows you to refresh key first‑aid skills and knowledge via online learning, followed by a practical classroom session where hands‑on drills, scenario work and assessment take place.
This refresher course provides an efficient update on core first‑aid competencies, reinforcing knowledge, honing practical techniques such as CPR and AED use, and adapting to the latest protocols. It ensures you remain current, confident and ready to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Participants will revisit key topics such as unconscious casualty management, breathing difficulties, shock, bleeding, burns, fractures and other injuries, together with the correct application of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). The course is aligned with the standards of the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) and recognised by supporting bodies such as Sports Singapore and the National Registry of Coaches (NROC).

Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council – Valid for 2 years
Course Objectives
- Online learning for theoretical knowledge, completed before class.
- Face-to-Face Sessions with experienced trainers for practical skills.
- Assessment through both written and practical evaluations.
Course Learning Outcome
- Successfully log in and complete all assigned e-learning modules
- Achieve a minimum score of 80% in theory assessment
- Pass all practical assessment components

- Basic English or Mandarin proficiency is needed to participate effectively in the course
- You should be comfortable with light to moderate physical activity

Funding Information
Funding eligibility is subject to approval by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). At the point of registration, the applicable funding amount will be reflected, and participants will be required to pay only the balance payable after funding.
Course enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of the balance payment.
To stay eligible for SSG funding, all SSG-subsidised trainees must use the Singpass app for e-attendance and pass all course assessments.
Participants who do not meet these requirements will be required to repay the funded portion of the course fees.
If SSG rejects the funding due to unmet criteria, participants will be billed for the remaining course fees.
