What's In It For Me
As part of the Workplace Safety and Health Requirement, Occupational First Aiders are required to maintain a valid certification to meet mandatory requirements.
The Occupational First Aid Refresher Course covers all the topics required for workplace first aid proficiency in a shortened format for experienced first aiders. Includes CPR+AED training and recertification.
Pre-requisites: Trainees must attend refresher course before expiry or within 3 months of expiry of existing Occupational First Aid Certificate.
Course Duration
- 2 days in-person classroom training.
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC). Valid for 2 years.
Upon confirmation of your registration to the Occupational First Aid course, you also consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data and training records to companies that access the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)’s Training Records System (TRS).
Pre-requisites
You must have an existing valid Occupational First Aid certificate. If you do not have a valid certificate or it has expired, you will be required to attend the Mandarin Occupational First Aid - Blended (Full) course.
Medical Fitness:
• Participants with medical issues or physical limitations should obtain clearance from a doctor.
• Pregnant participants are discouraged from CPR practice.
Funding Information
Funding eligibility is subject to approval by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). At the point of registration, the applicable funding amount will be reflected, and participants will be required to pay only the balance payable after funding.
Course enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of the balance payment.
To stay eligible for SSG funding, all SSG-subsidised trainees must use the Singpass app for e-attendance and pass all course assessments.
Participants who do not meet these requirements will be required to repay the funded portion of the course fees.
If SSG rejects the funding due to unmet criteria, participants will be billed for the remaining course fees.
