What's In It For Me
First Aid at the workplace is of paramount importance. Employers have a duty to equip the workplace with sufficient numbers of first aiders. The Occupational First Aid Course for new first aid providers is designed to increase awareness of possible accidents, identify accidents with casualties and optimise health and performance at the workplace.
This course certificate fulfils the first aid certification requirement under the Workplace Safety Health Act and is recognised by the Ministry of Manpower and Singapore Civil Defence Force. Includes CPR + AED Training and Certification.
Course Duration
- 2 days in-person classroom training.
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
Ministry of Manpower (MOM) with a 2-year certificate validity
Pre-requisites
Assumed skills and knowledge:
ESS Workplace literacy and numeracy Level 5 and above, ‘O’ Levels or equivalent.
Medical Fitness:
Trainees with any medical history or underlying heart and/or lung conditions or any medical problems associated to knee, spine, wrist or joints injury or any physical/mental disabilities are advised to obtain clearance from doctor to attend the course and assessments.
Pregnant ladies are highly discouraged from undertaking the CPR practice due to safety reasons

Additional Notes
- Trainees with existing Occupational First Aid certificate nearing expiry, please go to Mandarin Occupational First Aid Refresher course instead.
