What's In It For Me
The Occupational First Aid (OFA) Refresher Course is designed for trained workplace first aiders to renew and update their skills in line with current workplace safety and health requirements.
Conducted in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health (First Aid) Regulations under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and endorsed by the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC), this course ensures that first aiders remain competent to respond effectively to medical and injury emergencies at the workplace.
Through a combination of theory revision and hands-on practice, participants will refresh their knowledge of CPR, AED use, and the management of unconscious casualties, bleeding, fractures, burns, eye injuries, poisoning, and casualty transportation. The course reinforces confidence and readiness, ensuring compliance and preparedness in every workplace.

Course Duration
17 hours 30 minutes – 2 days (excluding breaks)
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
Ministry of Manpower – Valid for 2 years
Course Objectives
- Instructor-led lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice
- Assessment through both written and practical evaluations
Course Learning Outcome
- Requires meeting the set passing mark for the theory assessment
- Pass all practical assessment components
Pre-requisites
- A Valid Occupational First Aid Certificate
- Assume skills and knowledge: ESS Workplace literacy and numeracy level 5 and above
- You should be comfortable with light to moderate physical activity

Funding Information
Funding eligibility is subject to approval by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). At the point of registration, the applicable funding amount will be reflected, and participants will be required to pay only the balance payable after funding.
Course enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of the balance payment.
To stay eligible for SSG funding, all SSG-subsidised trainees must use the Singpass app for e-attendance and pass all course assessments.
Participants who do not meet these requirements will be required to repay the funded portion of the course fees.
If SSG rejects the funding due to unmet criteria, participants will be billed for the remaining course fees.
