English - Child First Aid (Asynchronous and Practical)

What's In It For Me
Children are more vulnerable to accidents and medical emergencies due to their age, size, and activity levels. Whether at home, in school, or in a childcare setting, knowing how to provide immediate and correct first aid can make a critical difference in a child’s outcome.
The Child First Aid (CFA) Blended Course equips participants with comprehensive first aid knowledge and hands-on skills specific to infants and children. Delivered in a flexible blended format, learners complete the theory modules online at their own pace, followed by in-person practical training and assessment. This ensures both convenience and competency, making it ideal for busy professionals and caregivers.
Upon successful completion, participants will be certified in three modules, Standard First Aid, BCLS+AED, and Child First Aid, endorsed by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC), valid for 2 years.

Course Objectives
- Online learning for theoretical knowledge, completed before class.
- Face-to-Face Sessions with experienced trainers for practical skills.
- Assessment through both written and practical evaluations.
Course Learning Outcome
- Successfully log in and complete all assigned e-learning modules
- Achieve a minimum score of 80% in theory assessment
- Pass all practical assessment components

- Basic English or Mandarin proficiency is needed to participate effectively in the course
- You should be comfortable with light to moderate physical activity

Funding Information
Funding eligibility is subject to approval by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). At the point of registration, the applicable funding amount will be reflected, and participants will be required to pay only the balance payable after funding.
Course enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of the balance payment.
To stay eligible for SSG funding, all SSG-subsidised trainees must use the Singpass app for e-attendance and pass all course assessments.
Participants who do not meet these requirements will be required to repay the funded portion of the course fees.
If SSG rejects the funding due to unmet criteria, participants will be billed for the remaining course fees.
