What's In It For Me
Accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) and recognised by ECDA and MSF, the Blended Child First Aid Course was specifically designed for childcare, preschools and kindergarten teachers and meets the requirement for centre licensing.
Includes Standard First Aid and BCLS+AED Certification.
Course Duration
Part 1 - 7 hours of self directed e learning / Part 2 - 8 hours of practical training in class / Part 3 - 5 hours of assessment in class / E-learning - accessible from Theory E learning date reflected in schedule till practical training date
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
- Certificate in 3 modules - Standard First Aid, BCLS AED and Child First Aid accredited by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council with a 2-year validity.
- Recognition - Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) / Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA)
Pre-requisites
- Assumed skills and knowledge:
- ESS Workplace literacy and numeracy Level 5 and above, ‘O’ Levels or equivalent.
- Medical Fitness:
- Trainees with any medical history or underlying heart and/or lung conditions or any medical problems associated to knee, spine, wrist or joints injury or any physical/mental disabilities are advised to obtain clearance from doctor to attend the course and assessments.
- Pregnant ladies are highly discouraged from undertaking the CPR practice due to safety reasons

Additional Notes
- Trainees with existing Child First Aid certificate nearing expiry, please go to English - Child First Aid Refresher course instead.
