What's In It For Me
The CERT First Aider (BFA with CPR & AED) Course meets Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) requirements for Company Emergency Response Teams. The CERT Scheme was expanded to include a broader group of Public and Industrial premises with the amendments to the Fire Safety Act on 14 September 2020. In the updated Fire Safety Act (Chapter 109A), all premises with Fire Safety Managers are required to set up a CERT.
This version is delivered in an interactive classroom format, this course includes topics that cover both trauma and medical emergencies - with a greater emphasis on hands-on practice. Participants are trained on how to perform CPR and use the AED.

Certification Obtained and Conferred by
Recognized by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) as meeting the first aid training requirements for Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) members.
Pre-requisites
1. Must be able to endure moderate physical exertion
2. Not recommended for those in late pregnancy or back injuries
Funding Information
Funding eligibility is subject to approval by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). At the point of registration, the applicable funding amount will be reflected, and participants will be required to pay only the balance payable after funding.
Course enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of the balance payment.
To stay eligible for SSG funding, all SSG-subsidised trainees must use the Singpass app for e-attendance and pass all course assessments.
Participants who do not meet these requirements will be required to repay the funded portion of the course fees.
If SSG rejects the funding due to unmet criteria, participants will be billed for the remaining course fees.
