ITLS Basic Provider Course
What's In It For Me
The International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Basic Course is a foundational programme designed for basic EMS personnel and first responders who are often first on scene to manage trauma patients.
This course equips participants with the essential skills for rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabilisation, and safe transportation of trauma patients. Emphasis is placed on the correct sequence of evaluation and the application of fundamental interventions to prevent further injury and improve survival outcomes.
Through a combination of lectures, practical skills stations, and scenario-based simulations, learners will develop the confidence and competence to provide early and effective trauma care, from the point of injury through to safe transfer.

- Ambulance crew members and emergency medical technicians (EMTs)
- Firefighters, rescue, and law enforcement officers

Course Duration
16 hours – 2 Days
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
Successful participants will be awarded the ITLS Provider Certificate (valid 2 years), conferred by ITLS International

- Instructor-led lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice
- Assessment through both written and practical evaluations.

- Requires meeting the set passing mark for the theory assessment
- Pass all practical assessment components
