The AHA Heartsaver® CPR AED Course is a versatile and accessible training programme designed for individuals with little to no medical background who wish to be equipped to respond in emergencies. Whether you are at work, at home, or in the community, this course empowers you to deliver essential first aid, perform high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively.
Participants will learn to recognise and manage a wide range of emergency scenarios including medical events, injuries, and environmental emergencies. Topics covered include prevention and response to choking, use of an AED, high-quality CPR across age groups, and basic first aid techniques such as bleeding control, bandaging, shock management, and life-threatening emergencies.
Upon successful completion of all required components, learners receive a course-completion card which remains valid for two years. This certification equips individuals with the skills and confidence to respond to emergencies, and is widely recognised in workplaces and communities where first aid readiness is valued.
